Heirloom: Tideline · Last updated 31 October 2026

The short version. The game has no accounts and never asks for your name, email or location. Your aquarium stays on your device. If you join our mailing list on this website, we keep your email address to send you news. On phones and tablets you can choose to watch video ads from Google, and Google's ad software collects some device information to show them. The Windows version has no ads.

Who we are

Heirloom: Tideline is made by Fernando Trueba, trading as Arroró Games, based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@arrorogames.com.

The website's mailing list

If you sign up on this website for news about the game, we keep your email address, so we can email you about the release date, demos and updates. We use them for nothing else, and never sell or share them.

Signing up is entirely separate from the game: the game itself still collects nothing that identifies you.

Visits to this website

We count visits to this website with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not follow you across other sites. It records which page was opened, the site that linked to it, the country, and the type of browser and device, without identifying you. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

What the game collects

Nothing that identifies you. The game does not ask for or store your name, email address, contacts, photos or location, and it has no chat or player accounts.

Ads (Android and iOS)

On phones and tablets the game offers video ads that play only when you choose to watch one, in return for a small reward. They are provided by Google AdMob. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google's software may collect your device's advertising identifier, IP address and information about how ads are viewed. This is collected by Google, not by us, and is covered by Google's privacy policy for partner apps.

Purchases

In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details. The game keeps only a record, on your device, of which items you own.

Sharing and copies you make

If you share a picture of a fish, a fish code or a copy of your aquarium, the game hands it to your device's share menu and you choose where it goes. We never see it, or where it went.

Backups

On Android, your device's own Google backup may include your saved aquarium, so it can be restored on a new phone. That backup belongs to your Google account and is not sent to us.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages but is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Ads are limited to content rated suitable for general audiences.

Your rights

The game holds no personal data about you, so there is nothing in it for us to access, correct or delete: deleting the game removes everything it stored on your device. If you joined the mailing list, you can ask us at any time for a copy of what we hold (your email address), to correct it or to delete it, or unsubscribe from any email. For data collected by Google for ads, see Google's policy, or reset your advertising identifier in your device settings. If you have any questions, write to us at support@arrorogames.com. If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If the game starts collecting anything new, such as crash reports or cloud saves, we will update this page before that version is released and change the date at the top.
